i've been wearing this cardigan heaps, but it's just so comfortably oversized and it keeps me warm it's hard to see anything else when i get dressed in the morning. the skull scarf was a favorite last winter, i picked it up in Glebe markets in sydney. i went through a mini skull phase (thanks alexander mcqueen) but this is the only thing i have with actual skulls on it.

i went on an impulse shopping spree yesterday. was i looking for slashed leggings? no. but when i found these hanging on a rack in Red Tiger i knew i just had to have them. they remind me so much of Rodarte and make me look like an Egyptian mummy. What's not to love? in fact, i loved them so much i got them in black as well. I try not to buy too many of the same things in different colors, but really, with these, i couldnt resist.

one of my favorite tshirts, such a no-brainer when i have nothing to wear. today, i had nothing to wear. was too distracted this morning.

tomorrow is saturday again. so much to do, so little time. hassle-free days off are coming few and far between. i'm hoping for sun, fingers crossed.

dancing with myself

the complete opposite of matchy-matchy, it was completely accidental when i paired the floral dress with the stripey cardigan but for some reason i love the combination of the two. the boots make the whole outfit look even more convoluted, but again, it really appeals to me. i love it when fashion doesnt make sense. yay, i may have just found my parklife outfit.

Picked the jacket up at 2BuckstillWednesday. i love it, reminds me so much of the nineties. even the boyfriend agrees, he says it looks straight out of julia salinger's closet.

i can't believe it's monday again. that weekend went by so fast.

more of the 2BuckstillWednesday haul. how amazing are those loafers! real italian leather and a size 4 1/2. it's like they weremade for me. plus a sweet leopard cropped thing and the corduroy jacket is just love. and one can never have enough floral dresses. and to think we got there a little late, there was only one rack left. oh 2bucks, can't wait for the next one.

camilla and marc have always been one of my favorite australian designers. their designs have a way of making me want to sell all my worldly possesions for just one piece from their collection and this spring/summer is no exception. i love the nude palettes and those leopard shoes ... wow. that gold blazer. those denim shorts. that cropped crochet sleeved top. the metallic skirts. aack, i neeeeeed a payrise.

one of my favorite dresses EVER. i wore it so much last winter my friends had to hide it from me. it's actually a size 14 top that i got on sale, from $375 to $75! another impulse buy that i was very very not sorry to have bought. thank you, emporia.

i went a little crazy with the stanley knife whilst watching True Blood. i was obviously too into the episode as there is that gaping hole that i just cut a little too big on the right knee, but meh. i'm overall happy with the result and i like the evils that conservative old ladies at the train seem to throw at me.

got a lot done today so i'm pretty proud of myself. did my grocery shopping in the morning, and caught up with a friend and did some shopping later in the arvo. trying to be really good with my money for 2BuckstillWednesday this saturday. i am so so excited i'm counting the days as if im going on holiday. pretty sad really, but it's nice to have something to look forward to.

i had completely forgotten that i had this cardigan...or rather, that the boyfriend had it. i found it in his closet whilst we were getting ready to go out and it was exactly what i needed to complete the outfit. unfortunately for him, it's mine now, which is a shame really because he looks really good in it.

it was such a nice day today, such a good change from the gloomy rainy days we've been having, that we took another long walk to Leederville. the leaves were crunching under our feet so we made little piles and jumped on them. good fun.
