i'm baaaaack from Manila-land with a lighter purse, but armed with all the Topshop shopping goodness my 20 kilos would allow. it was nice seeing family and my oldest friends in the world, but it really is good to be home. Getting back into the routine of it all, and im trying so hard to not wear any of my new stuff, just so they stay "new" for a little while longer. that should tide my desire for new things over until the next trip in june, and maybe it'll help in the rebulking of the funds.....not.

another specimen, another favorite, from my collection of button down tshirts. wore them to death with leggings last winter, and looks like pairing them with these tank dresses are quickly turning into a summer uniform. i love it when clothes are transeasonal!

more denim shirt goodness. it's been pretty chilly in the mornings and there's nothing better, nothing more comfortable than this old Marks and Spencer find. I'm starting to get really attached, to the point that i have to make a real effort not to reach for it, and still always, it ends up part of the ensemble. ima try and wean myself off, but i cant make any promises it wont make another appearance this week. =P

my denim shirt has been getting quite the workout this week. im not doing it on purpose, but i find ive been reaching for it every single day this week. maybe its the drop in temperatures, maybe its because the shirt reminds me of winter and its cool enough to wear in summer still, all i know is i told myself this new year that once i commit to an outfit, i wont change another 34657 times before reverting back to the first original thing i was wearing. soooo...if the fates will me to reach for the same shirt everyday, i'm going with the flow. everyone will just have to deal. :)

got some new summer boots the other day and they are practically glued to my feet! they're not too hot to wear as long as there's a breeze (teehee...) and that birkenstock footbed is just soooooo comfortable. and the best bit? they were originally a whopping 258peanuts, down to 70 (!!!!) and i got them for an extra 40%off with my discount, bringing it to a grand total of only 42 peanuts!!! if that doesnt scream BUY ME i dont know what does.

my hair has reached disgusting overgrown lengths but i refuse to do anything with it until i decide wether to cut the fringe or just grow it out. i always tell myself i will grow it out but once its in this semi-growing stage, it never looks right, and i'm undecided for ages. for now, it resides in braids and coiffs and anything else i can do to mask their limbo state. That aside, how absolutely awesome is this skirt? it is honestly even better in person, all pouffy and perfectly balloon-y! it twirls nicely too, and you know i looove a skirt that knows how to twirl. ;)

managed to peel myself off the couch from my hungover state and crawled to leederville for some JUS burgers/fish and chips goodness. bought these jeans a while ago and kind of fucked them up trying to make baggy denim shorts. took a knife at them the other day and just started hacking away and i must say im very happy with how they turned out. i cant wait for them to start fraying to the perfect length, but i know this is going to take years before they achieve perfection.

so...new year. hope everyone started it on an amazing note. had an epic time with friends and lover, too much fun i forgot to take the camera out to document. oh welll, there's a whole new year to document epic events so im not fussed. hope everyone has a great and memorable 2010! as for me, DIET STARTS TODAY! goodbye greasy goodness, i will miss thee.
