picked up this tunic at a pop-up designer store on sale for 50 bones. all i needed to do was grab a medium and voila, instant dress. the shoes are an old favorite, they remind me of ballerina shoes, only a hundred times more awesome. sorry for the rank toenails, i know i know, a pedicure is definitely on the horizon.

yes it's winter. crazy, no?

been up to a big bowl of nothing the past few days. opshopping on the weekend led to possibly the best opshop find ever to date. i'm itching to post a picture, but waiting for the perfect time to unleash it unto the world. two words though, haute couture. patience friends, you will see it in good time. in the meantime, hows about this perfect for spring lace blazer? i'm all about these blushy salmon colours atm, and to top it off it's lace, people, LACE! what's not to love? :)

it was a public holiday on monday, so it's wednesday but feels like tuesday...and then weekend in 2 days! don't you love that?

just a little something i was working on. couldn't decide whether to stud the pocket or just underneath that collar. i have to say, im pretty happy with the result. if only my boredom was always this productive, i would be ruling the world by now.

ok, so not my favorite series of pictures, but this is me trying to post more outfit photos despite 1) tiredness, 2) darkness, c) the boyfriend/photographer not wanting to venture outside, and d) the lack of space in my tiny townhouse. i did say i would put in more effort.

so this is what i wore to work today + those lilac gladiator wedges you guys have seen a million bazillion times. i was kind of comatose last night and fell asleep at 10, plus overslept just a bit this morning and literally had no time to think of an outfit, hence the pajama-like ensemble. i have to say, i was pretty happy with it the whole day, the leggings are my most comfortable pair and the tshirt...well, we know how much i love anything oversized.

oh and please excuse the mess, this is literally my "closet space/study" so everything is pretty much everywhere atm. one day when it is nice and tidy i will take lovely pictures of it and show you. n the whole house, it's pretty much my happy place. :)

there is a reason Abbey Lee Kershaw is my favorite model. i mean, look at her! she is perfection personified in gold. and that gun necklace is more than amazing. amazing and subtle, love that combination...

winter

it's officially winter, and i'm having a ball. all those pent-up winter outfits are finally unleashed and ive never had more fun dressing up in the mornings. unfortunately, the boyfriend and i run on march hare time, in other words, we're always late late for a very important date in the mornings so there is never time to document said outfits, and the only poo card of winter is that the sun is completely gone by the time i get home. i will try harder though, put in more effort. in the meantime, feel what im feeling when you think of the cold season. look into your wardrobes and just pile everything on. have fun with your layers and if you get stuck, always remember that something furry, something leather, something leopard, or something velvet will always save the day...

(kind of obsessed with the wedge boots, those buckle leggings, and that extremely furry yeti coat. oh winter, it's been too long!)

one part boredom, one part impulse, and 2 parts chance, and this is the result. i had a little too much time on my hands, it was pay weekend, and it's just somethng ive always wanted to do. although it was meant to turn out a little more chocolate, a little less orange, im kind of really happy with the result. just goes to show that more often than not, it pays to be a little impulsive.

I scored the red Docs on the weekend thrifting treasure hunt, again surprisingly my size! a friend works in one of my favorite opshops, he unpacked these babies, gave me a call, and pretty much bought them for me. i know i know, lucky me :)
