(thrifted floral tunic, DIY denim cutoffs, vintage brogues)
hello again, sorry for the lack of posting. im finding it hard to actually get dressed in the morning, much less put on something photo-worthy. this always happens to me during the in-between seasons, im just over everything summer, but its way too early to start piling on the layers. this weather isnt helping either, what with all the hot humid air and cloudy skies. plus the days are starting to get shorter, so there is a very small window of good photo lighting before everything turns grey, which unfortunately is about the same time the boyf comes home from work to take my photos. but anyway, enough about that, bottom line, i will try to make more of an effort.
moving on, i dont kow what is more amazing, this tunic or the shoes??! the tunic is made of this really light somewhat ruchey material similar to that of the sarongs you can find in bali. plus i love the slit at the front, makes it so perfect to wear with cutoffs, imo. and the shoes...the shoes! i have searched far and wide for a pair of brogues like this, and im so happy that hunt has finally come to an end. my jewish boyfriend says they look like a granma's holocaust shoes ( i know, i know, SO WRONG! but he is jewish, so i guess he can say that =P) and for some reason, it makes me love them even more! havent stopped wearing em since i got em at the ginger fox's market stall on the weekend.
