summer in winter

pictures from the weekend. warm sunny days are becoming few and far between, and it's kind of a bittersweet feeling. i feel like i have been waiting for winter forever, but now that the rainy days and cold mornings have come to perth, i find myself walking on the sunny side of the street and revelling in the feeling of the sun on my skin. byee summer, don't take too long a vacation. i kind of miss you already.

and speaking of vacations, ze trip to manila-land looms before me. kind of excited, kind of not...i can't wait to see my nephew, be with my friends, shop till i literally drop, and eat all the yummy food. but there's lots of things i'm not looking forward to as well...wish i were going on a real holiday. but meh, ce'st la vie, it will still be a wicked trip i'm sure.
